Conceived as an homage to the rich past of this historic house and a celebration of the new millennium, only 323 magnums of this extraordinary champagne were ever produced. Oenologists at Moët et Chandon selected a year from each decade of the 20th century which they believed best represented that particular decade, culminating in a champagne which blends wines from 1900, 1914, 1921, 1934, 1943, 1952, 1962, 1976, 1985, 1995 as well as 1983 (the vintage that was used to mark the 250th anniversary of this house). These wines were all disgorged and assembled before being fermented for a third time and matured again on the lees creating a unique wine of extraordinary complexity, history and craftsmanship.
