Provenance
The design for this table is based upon the yew dressing table possibly delivered by Jacob Freres circa 1800 to Empress Josephine at the Tulieries, illustrated in B. Chevallier, Empire Style: Authentic Decor, London, 2008, pp. 169 and 176.
