Hidayat Allah is also recorded as the scribe of a copy of the Diwan of Hafiz, dated AH [9]92/1589-90 AD, now in the Egyptian Library, Cairo (Guest, 1949, pp.32 and 62). It is one of the few Shiraz manuscripts that contains a painting that is signed by an artist.
