A CIZHOU MARBLED STONEWARE BOWL
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 11TH-12TH CENTURY
The bowl is formed with rounded sides and is raised on a short foot ring. The marbled brown and beige ware is applied with a plain creamy-white slip on the mouth rim, all covered in a clear glaze.
3 ¾ in. (9.5 cm.) diam.
