A BLUE-GROUND YELLOW-ENAMELLED 'DRAGON' BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The exterior is decorated with two five-clawed dragons amongst clouds and flames chasing the flaming pearl, all above a band of overlapping petals encircling the foot rim. The interior is similarly decorated with a central roundel depicting a single dragon in pursuit.
5 ½ in. (14 cm.) diam.
