TWO EMBROIDERED SILK 'BIRD' ROUNDELS
19TH CENTURY
One is embroidered with six cranes among pine trees and peonies and the other with a long-tailed pheasant perched on a rock beside peonies and a magnolia tree. Both are embroidered with the female artists' names and seals: the crane roundel with Pan Qiuyun and the pheasant roundel with Pan Ruixia.
