Lot Essay

The present Omega is preserved in very good overall condition, furthermore retaining the full set of accessories. It is no. 803 of the limited series of 1970 examples of this model made.

The Alaska Project limited edition watch from 2008 and its striking white dial, capsule-shaped register and red central seconds hand has become one of the most desirable and recognizable modern Speedmaster and is based on the original Alaska Project prototype in the early 1970s. It is also notable for the red anodized aluminum protective case designed to provide more resistance to extreme temperatures between -148° and +260°.
