This endangered species strap is shown for display purposes only and is not for sale. The watch will be supplied with a calf leather strap.

Consigned by a private collector and fresh to the market the present reference 5070 is preserved in very good original overall condition, still retaining the Certificate of Origin.

Reference 5070
Created in 1998 and produced until 2010, the reference was the first chronograph-only timepiece developed by Patek Philippe after decades and was first released in yellow gold, later crafted in white gold, pink gold and platinum.

With a 42-millimeter case, the chronograph was assembled with a metallic dial, painted in a different colour subject to the case material. Second largest wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe at the time of its launch after the reference 5002, the 5070 was fitted with the calibre 27-70 based on the Nouvelle Lemania ébauche especially developed for Patek Philippe and has become throughout the years one of the most sought-after contemporary chronograph of the manufacture.
