Lot Essay

The “Time to the Seconde” was produced in the 1980s for Rolex retailers, the desk clock encompassing all the characteristic elements of an iconic Rolex timepiece. It is fitted with a heavy gilt brass case and tells the time with Mercedes-style hands, the date is indicated through a magnified window.

The present clock is furthermore made with a wood-effect dial with matching bezel, like Rolex wristwatches of the 1980s.
