The arms are those of Pyle impaling Pitts for Nicholas Pyle (1699-1766), of Marsh Court Manor, Stockbridge, Hampshire, and his wife Mary (1692-1784), daughter of Matthew Pitts (1666-1724), of Burcombe, Wiltshire, whom he married in 1723. D. Squibb in 1991.
