Harold Hutchison (1900-1975) was Publicity Officer for London Transport from 1947 to 1966. Duirng his time in office he commissioned a number of Modern British artists, such as William Roberts, who designed a poster for London's Fairs, Edward Burra and Tom Eckersley. He also wrote books on Edward II, Henry V, Richard II and Sir Christopher Wren.
