ILKHANID IRAN, LATE 13TH/EARLY 14TH CENTURY
With moulded calligraphic decoration ‘Allah al-ladhi', and with an inventory number on the reverse
6 ½ x 10 in. (16.5 x 25.4 cm.)
Provenance
From a collection formed by a family living in Cairo and Alexandria, who later moved to France and subsequently South America in the 1960s (the remainder of their collection was sold at Sotheby’s, London, 9 October 1994).
Acquired directly from the heirs of the above by the present owner in 1994.
