MING DYNASTY (1368-1644) AND LATER
Comprising a tripod censer with elephant handles; a 'chilong' double handle cup and a mughal pouring cup with foliate motifs and fluted spout
The largest, 9 ½ in. (14 cm.) wide.
Provenance
The two-handled censer: China-Bolkhen, Berlin, Germany, 10 April 1931, where acquired by Hermann Rosenfeld.
The Collection of Hermann Rosenfeld, Hamburg, Germany, 1930s.
Acquired by the current owner from the heirs of Mr. Hermann Rosenfeld.
The mughal cup: The de Guigne Collection; sold Christie's, New York, 24 March 2016, lot 48.
