The first vase of octagonal baluster form with dense decoration in underglaze blue of a dragon and tiger amongst bamboo, the shoulders with stylised motifs and bands of lappets, the cover decorated with various trees, flowers and rocks, karashishi final; the second vase decorated with various coloured enamels and gilt over underglaze blue with lobed panels alternately containing cherry blossoms and chrysanthemums, bordered by geometric patterns, the shoulder with scrolling foliage
