Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Universal, the present watch was manufactured in 1943. Its desirability is enchanced by the "BIG XII" on the dial, which was produced by Universal in very small quanitites in the early 1940s. Furthremore, this watch has been preserved in exceptionally good condition evident by its sharp case and still retaining the crisp numbers to the caseback.
