Reference 874 is known as the Ellipse Pendant, part of the Elipse family. In production from 1976 to circa 1991, it is known in yellow or white gold. Engraved examples such as the present one are designated by the -1, -2 or -3 variation of the reference number. At least two different patterns are known: the present “Calatrava” pattern, and a different “Guirlande” pattern. Such engraved examples are extremely rare. the present watch being one of only three seen in the market since its launch.
