Lot Essay

The three-quarter size Nautilus ref. 3800 is now receiving much attention from the collecting community as more people appreciate how it feels on the wrist and enjoy the hunt to fine examples in unrestored condition.

Made from the early 1980s until 2006, the two tone example was made is less numbers than its steel cousin. This particular 3800/1JA is quite early for the reference and has the much desired black date ring.
