A very small group of these birds seems to have been made. One pair was in the Garbisch Collection, also from Philip Suval, and sold by Sotheby's at Pokety Farms, 22 May 1980, lot 281; another pair, ormolu-mounted, was in the collection of René Fribourg and sold Sotheby's London, 17 October 1963, lot 754.
