An example of this figure group by Corneille van Cleve was exhibited in the Salon of 1704 in Paris. The only other known example is in the Grünes Gewolbe Museum in Dresden, purchased by Baron LePlat for Augustus the Strong in 1715. There is a reference to a third pair, sold in the Le Rouge sale in Paris in 1818, though their whereabouts are unknown.
