A RARE MAYAN STONE FIGURAL MARKER
The erect and solid figure standing on a tapering peg base, distinguished by a narrow torso, delineated pectorals, squared shoulders and well-defined buttocks, the cupped hands deeply drilled possibly once holding offerings, the impassive, full-cheeked face topped with a tiered headdress; in grey basalt.
