the arched case surmounted by the figure of Cupid resting on a nimbus, with winged caryatids to the sides, on shaped break front base with toupie feet, with porcelain panels to the front and sides depicting flowers, birds and artistic attributes, the dial within beaded bezel and with individual Roman chapters, painted with a figure of Cupid to the centre, signed H. MARC PARIS, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell and repeat signature to the backplate -- 16in. (41cm.) high
