Fresh to the market and factory sealed the present timepiece is considered one the most boldly designed modern complications of recent years. With its red split seconds hands matching its hand stitched strap, the watch has an automotive and sporty design appeal combined with its Art Deco inspired cushion-shaped case. An elegant juxtaposition of new and old, the present 5951P is a modern day trophy for collectors of superlative timepieces.

Reference 5951P was launched at Baselworld fair in 2010. Realized only with a platinum case,the following is equipped with the CHR 27-525 PS caliber, the thinnest column wheel controlled split-seconds chronograph movement ever crafted by Patek Philippe.
