A pair of Wedgwood majolica flower pots
in the Aesthetic manner, of lobed cylindrical form, moulded with blossoming branches and japonesque flowerheads on geometric pattern panel grounds, enriched in bright colours on grey with turquoise interiors and yellow rims, impressed marks, indistinct date codes, either D for 1875 or L for 1883, puce M 3173/17.0 -- 21.5cm. high (both cracked to base, one to side, some flaking to interior glaze)
