Two Nove maiolica flower holders
one modelled as a violin, the other as a mandolin, both painted in a bright palette with sprays of flowers and leaves within sepia bands of foliage, both pierced with apertures to the top, painted crown marks, both -- 40cm. long, late 19th century (violin neck broken, some other chips and cracks)
