of reeded cylindrical form, each painted with a half-length portrait of an 18th century French noble lady, the reverse with a bouquet of flowers, on a blue and gilt ground, the swelling lower section moulded with panels gilt with a vermicular pattern between leaves, each with a pierced metal stand, fitted for electricity, with globular glass shades -- 53cm. high max. (stand matched, re-gilt and wear)
