in a pale pastel palette with vignettes of children in interiors acting out scenes from Molière, within pale lemon-yellow ground borders painted en grisaille with quarter-length portraits of children with shaped raised gilt panels and silver beads between raised gilt and silver crossed swords below swags of flowers among scrolls, within shaped rims, each titled in gilt to the reverse with a short description of the scene, including L'Ecole des Femmes and La Tartuffe, signed, gilt mark -- 24cm. diam., late 19th century (some wear to gilt rims and reverse)
