painted with Diana in a chariot drawn by two maids, within a square panel with burnished and matt gilt , on a dark blue ground gilt with panels of animals and foliage within white beads above a key patten section, the cover and saucer with similar ornament, titled to base, late 19th century (very slight wear to gilt)
