OF LOUIS XV STYLE, THE ORMOLU MOUNTS SECOND-HALF 19TH CENTURY, THE CARCASSES POSSIBLY INCORPORATING EARLIER ELEMENTS
Each with a serpentine Sarrancolin marble top above a pair of drawers applied with scrolling foliate mounts, the angles mounted with espagnolettes, on tapering legs and scrolled acanthus-cast feet, decorated all-over with Chinoiserie scenes against a red ground; one carcass stamped 'GILBERT' and with a sticker to a drawer marked '6326'
