Scholoss, Ancient Chinese Ceramic Sculpture: From Han through Tang, Stanford, 1977, vol. 1, p. 76, fig. 12; and one in the Tokyo National Museum, illustrated in Sekai toji zenshu, Japan, 1976, vol. 11, col. Pl. 194. A similar amber and straw-glazed figure of a boar was sold at Christie’s New York, 20 March 2001, lot 125.
