The waisted case with putto finial and peacock to the glazed front door, the dial with cartouche-shaped enamel chapters, signed to the centre 'FILON / A PARIS', the twin train movement with countwheel strike to bell above the case, the backplate signed 'Filon a Paris'; together with a conforming bracket; both bracket and clock case stamped 'ANT. FOVLLET JME', the rear of case with an applied paper label ' AU LION D'ARGENT / Rue St. Denis pres de l'apport / de Paris / Filon Mte.
