Old English pattern, each piece engraved with the Sutherland crest, comprising: twelve tablespoons, twelve table forks, twelve dessert spoons, twelve dessert forks, twelve teaspoons, six egg spoons, four salt spoons, a soup ladle, a pair of sauce ladles, a basting spoon, a sifting spoon, a pair of asparagus tongs, a butter knife, a pickle fork and two skewers, William Hutton & Sons Ltd., London, the majority 1904, the asparagus tongs 1903, in a plush-lined oak canteen inset with a brass cartouche engraved with initials, a pair of Victorian sugar tongs also engraved with the Sutherland crest, and a pair of Victorian foliate-engraved sugar tongs - 139.75oz.
