A YELLOWISH-GREEN JADE PENDANT
NORTHEAST CHINA, 3RD-2ND MILLENNIUM BC
The thick, flattened, tapering pendant is drilled for suspension through the broad end and the stone has extensive areas of blackish-brown staining. Together with a semi-translucent white jade adze, Northwest China, 3rd-2nd millennium BC, with broad, angled cutting edge and gently tapering rounded point at the opposite end.
3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high, cloth box
