A RARE BLUE AND WHITE BOWL
ZHENGDE FOUR-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1506-1521)
The bowl is decorated on the exterior with the with four large lotus roundels below a narrow band of wan diaper, with a further lotus medallion on the bottom of the interior within a double circle.
8 3/8 in. (21.3 cm.) diam.
