The stepped upper part with a bead-decorated moulded cornice, fitted with adjustable shelves enclosed by four glazed astragal panel doors, the fall enclosing a baize lined writing surface and satinwood-veneered fitted interior, with drawers, pigeon holes and central enclosed cupboard and enclosed by a pair of panel doors below, flanked by four short drawers, a deep drawer and hinged folio drawer, on a plinth base
