A Shibayama style silver, enamel and gold lacquer foliate rimmed tripod bowl
inlaid in mother-of-pearl, ivory, horn and wood with shaped panels depicting a cockerel, doves, an eagle and other birds among chrysanthemums, peonies, wisterian and prunus on grounds decorated with flowering cartouches -- 7.in wide, signed Masamitsu, (minor inlay missing and slight damage).
