DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The bowl is decorated to the exterior with an iron-red dragon and a green dragon chasing the flaming pearl between two phoenix descending on a ground scattered with floral sprigs. The rim is decorated with a band of Eight Buddhist Emblems alternating with ruyi-heads. The interior is decorated with a central medallion enclosing an iron-red dragon in pursuit of the flaming pearl.
