A large Chinese blue and white vase
with flaring rim and short foot, the cylindrical body decorated with a continuous band of scrolling peonies and leaves below a band of floral cartouches and hatch-pattern to the shoulder, all within further bands of lappet panels and stiff leaves -- 28.5cm. (64.8cm.) high, 18th Century.
