Provenance
John Smyth [purchased from] Roger Rollandson 1588, inscription to blank margin of title, and with copious manuscript marginalia in Latin throughout the book providing Latin names for the various illnesses and remedies being discussed in the vernacular, presumably in the hand of John Smyth, although a few notes are in another contemporary hand. These notes are extended on one blank at the front and two at the end. Also with a manuscript index, in another hand, probably 17th century, on 4 blank leaves at the front.
