Circular, painted with stylised blossoms on gilt ground with foliate sprays at intervals around the Imperial double-headed eagle and the Russian title of Nicholas I, the borders with floral and foliate sprays on gilt ground, marked under bases with underglaze blue factory marks, also with red palace inventory numbers
