PRESIDENTIAL SIGNED BASEBALLS (LOTS 92-109)Since the very beginning of the 20th century, U.S. Presidents and the game of baseball have been inextricably linked. Although Teddy Roosevelt was a huge fan of sports, he was initially not impressed with the game of baseball out of preference for more “violent” endeavors. Major League Baseball issued Roosevelt the first lifetime field pass to a U.S. President, and he eventually became an ardent fan of the game. The infatuation with the game of baseball grew with each subsequent leader and in many ways became symbolic of the country as a whole especially in times of crisis.

President Woodrow Wilson Single Signed Baseball (US President 1913-21)
Rare official NL baseball signed across the sweet spot by Woodrow Wilson in black fountain pen. The autograph does exhibit areas of notable age fading yet remains clearly legible rating 3 out of 10. Ball itself shows light to moderate general surface wear with strong manufacturer's stampings. One of the more elusive early Presidential signed baseballs with very few documented surviving examples. Wilson became ill in 1919 and passed away in 1924. Includes full LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA: Ball : EX, Signature: GD
