with earlier sighted barrel signed at the breech BORTOLO COMINAZZI, and retained by six brass bands each chased with foliage, sparsely engraved lock, wooden full stock re-enforced with engraved iron plates, slender butt of characteristic 'fish-tail' form, profusely decorated with pierced brass foliate panels, mother-of-pearl plaques inlaid with red pigment, and brass tacks, engraved brass trigger-guard, and original iron ramrod with turned tip, early 19th century -- 48¾in.
