Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is a very recent wine estate. It was founded in the year 2000 by Count Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, agricultural engineer and oenologist, with the aim of taking over the running of those few parcels of vineyards remaining in the hands of the family. The estate is in fact an old and historic estate, with over 200 years of tradition making some of Burgundy's greatest wines.
Louis-Michel Liger-Belair's wines are thought of today as some of Vosne-Romanée's most sought after and singular bottles.
