Comprising a pair, green painted, numbered 8 and 11 with maker's label 'John Gilbert/London'; and a matched pair, each decorated with a figure flanked by Chinese characters, one with black ground the other red, all adapted for electricity, with pleated silk shades, white-painted Ford Inv. Nos. TD-4-A & ...B and TB-5
The green canisters: 16 in. (41 cm.) high; 9 ½ in. (24 cm.) diameter, excluding fitments; the others: 19 in. (49 cm.) high and slightly smaller
