Early edition of a work on the Psalms by the celebrated Dominican converso, with illuminated initials. A close reprint of Ulrich Han’s 1470 Rome edition. H 15700*; BMC IV 74; BSB-Ink T-550; Bod-inc T-274; IGI 9869; Goff T-521; ISTC it00521000.

Royal quarto (280 x 199mm). 204 leaves. Two illuminated initials, smaller red and blue initials with red pen-flourishing (washed, first initial faded; small marginal paper repair; some toning and scattered worming). Modern olive morocco with 18th-century gilt spine label, faded fore-edge title. Provenance: some early marginalia (washed) – Robert Walsingham Martin (1871-1961; bookplate; his sale, Parke-Bernet, 12 November 1963, lot 243) – acquired from Internationaal Antiquariaat en Modern Boekhandel, Amsterdam, 18 May 1966.
