This edition is notable for its large format and the size of the cuts, elaborate new designs by the same hand showing the influx of Italian Renaissance ideas into traditional French stock. Contemporary French blind-tooled polished calf, gilt edges (rebacked, corners and fore-edges repaired); modern quarter morocco chemise and slipcase.
