Lot Essay

Feng Zhuwan (1879-1954) graduated from Baoding Army Military Academy and was admitted to Beijing Army University. After graduating in 1911, he returned to Guangdong to participate in the Revolution of 1911. In 1923, he served as Director of the Military Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong Military Government, and later as Director of the Finance Division of the Xijiang Supervision Office. In 1927, he served as director of the Department of Finance, the Military Department, and the Department of Agriculture and Industry of the Guangdong Provincial Government. In 1928, he served as a member of the Guangzhou Branch of the Central Political Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang. In 1929, acted as chairman of the Guangzhou Political Branch.
