Christie’s are delighted to present this stellar collection of finest Bordeaux and rare Burgundy, as the lead consignment of our June auction. The owners of the following 100 lots focused their collecting on the finest properties in each region that features and acquired deep parcels of wines from the greatest vintages. The wines were purchased on release from either the UK or European agents, and stored thereafter at Octavian Vaults, Corsham, and LCB Dinton. The First Growths of Bordeaux form the backbone of the collection – all First Growth Châteaux feature, alongside Petrus, and other highly regarded estates. Moving to Burgundy, we present superb wines from DRC, Dujac, Mugnier and Dugat-Py, all from exceptional vintages in half-bottle, bottle and rare magnum formats. This is a collection of exquisite quality and is offered in pristine condition.
