For those curious to know, the mystery of the "little nameless object" manufactured in the fictional town of Wollett, MA was convincingly solved by a Slate journalist in 2007. Octavo. Title printed in red and black (few foxmarks at ends). Original boards (light sunning); paper-lined cloth dust jacket lettered in gilt to match the boards (mild rubbing to corners).
