A RARE LARGE JICHIMU 'LUOHAN' PANEL AND ZITAN FRAME
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The rectangular panel is carved with eight seated luohan in a mounstainscape. Each luohan is accompanied by an inscription identifying him. The panel is set within a finely carved zitan frame.
48 ½ x 32 ¼ in. (123.2 x 81.9 cm.), including zitan frame
