Original 5"x8" sepia tone image in a matte finish by Frank W. Smith who was a noted photographer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer during the early part of the 20th century. The image pictures both Doyle and Devore posing in Giants uniforms holding bats signed, respectively, across the front in black fountain pen. The photo has also been signed by the two players in the white margin to the left but were asked to do a second signing on the image as evidenced by Smith's purpose of using the image within a larger collage for publishing.
